Welcome to Balmaha Larder, makers of the finest handmade whisky cakes and whisky confectionery produced in Scotland.

Balmaha Larder is a recently established small family business situated in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands, on the shores of Loch Lomond.

The name of the business was inspired by our home The Deer House, which was formerly Forestry Offices & Deer Larder.

I did not start out life as a baker and confectioner but have fond memories as a child baking with both my grannies and old Auntie Jean. They were experts in the baking of true Scottish Fayre which included a special occasion Rich Fruit Cake which always contained a lavish amount of whisky.

It is this same age old recipe which we use in our famous

Loch Lomond Whisky Cakes.

We have a range of Luxury Handmade Confectionery Gifts with Scotch Whisky, Single Malt and Whisky Liqueurs together with a few without alcohol. So whether you are looking for a Corporate Whisky Gift or ‘a wee minding’ for a neighbour we are sure you will find something tempt you.
